Oh. My. Goodness. And I've complained before because it takes 1 1/2 hours to both wash AND dry a load of clothes!! You two are such a wonderful witness to all the Benedictine values, especially living simply. I admire your courage and perseverence in staying in your ministry during times when all the conveniences of home seem a lifetime away. Thanks to both of you for being strong in making a commitment to this ministry, and bringing the blessings of St. Benedict's in Minnesota to the community of Chipole. Blessings in abundance, S. Actually, I have never washed my own clothes when I have been at Chipole. Do you ever do your washing outside? I was surprised to see inside such a large room. Is this near the other washing done by the sisters?
